Health Experts Talking Positive About H1N1

Last updated on Monday, December 7, 2009

(UNDATED) - Some positive news from the experts who monitor the health of Hoosiers.

For the first time in months, there were no confirmed H1N1 deaths reported last week in Indiana.

Since June, 33 people have died from the virus across the state.

Starting December 20th, the health department will start releasing doses of H1N1 vaccine to the public, including through local pharmacies.

The health department urges Hoosiers to still get the vaccine, even though the number of H1N1 flu cases have declined.
