(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Students with dyslexia and other learning differences have a new resource in Bloomington.
The pinnacle school held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday for its new three-building, seven acre education and research campus.
The school's Executive Director, Denise Lessow, says the facility includes a 4,800 square-foot Dyslexia Research and Learning Center.
She says it will allow educators to apply the latest educational methods for dyslexic students after performing screenings to diagnose them.
Dyslexia reportedly affects about 20% of the population.
The new center is scheduled to open in January.
