18-Year-Old Aids Carrier Arrested For Failing To Warn Partners

Last updated on Monday, December 7, 2009

(BLOOMINGTON, IN)- Police in Bloomington arrested an 18-year-old woman on an unusual charge.

They say Sierra Launer had intimate relations with at least two men and did not tell them that she has aids.

State law says that carriers of dangerous communicable diseases must warn partners that they are putting at risk.

Launer is in the Monroe County jail, facing class D felony charges.
