(NASHVILLE, IN) - A 14-year-old boy will serve prison time for his role in a brutal attack on an elderly couple.
A Brown County judge sentenced Blade Reed Monday to 30 years in jail, of which he will serve half; he gets credit for nine months spent in jail since his arrest.
84-year-old Richard Voland was killed in the attack. His wife, Mary was shot and stabbed, but survived.
Reed's brother, 17-year-old Bennie Reed was sentenced to 60 years for the crime.
