(COLUMBUS, IN) - A Columbus couple is facing neglect charges after their two-year-old was found walking a street alone late Thursday night.
Police arrested the child's parents, 23-year-old Barry Harper and 22-year-old Jessica Hobson, at a home nearby.
Police say the toddler had possible flea bites and a chemical burn.
She was handed over to child protective services.
Her parents were booked at Bartholomew County Jail.
When police searched their house, they report finding trash, dirty dishes and dog feces inside.
