Last updated on Friday, November 13, 2009

(UNDATED) - State health officials say statistics indicate the H1N1 pandemic in Indiana may be stabilizing.

The number of flu-like illnesses being reported in emergency rooms and primary care providers decreased over the last week compared to the previous week.

Fewer schools reported large numbers of students being absent and the numbers of Hoosiers being hospitalized has dropped dramatically.

Three more people have died from confirmed H1N1 flu during the week ending Monday, bringing the total number of such deaths to 22 since June first.
