(BEDFORD, IN) - Five people were injured in a two vehicle crash Friday evening at around 7:00PM.

According to Lawrence County Police 42-year-old Larry Brock was turning west onto US Highway 50 West from the northbound turn lane of State Road 37 when his vehicle collided with another vehicle traveling on Highway 50.

That vehicle was being driven by 23-year-old Kaitlyn M Beitler, causing both vehicles to run off of the roadway and Brock's car to collide with a light pole.

Brock told Police, who arrived later at the scene, that as he approached the light to turn, the light was green however the turn signal was not.

Beitler informed police that Brock had pulled out in front of her as she approached the intersection.

Those injured during the collision suffered minor bleeding including both drivers and their passengers.
