According to the Indiana State Police, on Saturday, October 16th, State Police Troopers were called to the parking lot of Needmore Elementary School to assist an off-duty French Lick Police Officer in arresting 22-year-old Chelsea Wilhelm of Fort Wayne.

The report to state police came following a call made to the Lawrence County Sheriff Department from someone stating that two people were sitting in the Needmore Elementary School parking lot, passed out.

Following an investigation, police say that the driver of the car became tired and stopped in the parking lot to sleep.

Wilhelm was also discovered to be in possession of cocaine and other controlled substances.

The 22-year-old was eventually arrested for possession of cocaine within 1000 feet of a school, possession of schedule II and 4 controlled substance, possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.
