Traffic Stop Leads To Discovery Of Meth Lab

(LINTON, IN) - A routine traffic stop Thursday night in Linton led to the discovery of a meth lab operation and the arrest of two Linton men.

During the initial traffic stop, illegal drug dealing activity was suspected to have been going on inside the car.

27-year-old Rodney R. Shipley, was arrested for allegedly dealing methamphetamine by Greene County Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Inman.

27-year-old Randy J. Nickle, was arrested for allegedly dealing methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia by Linton Patrol Officer Cpl. Paul Clark.

Following the arrest, a search warrant was obtained by police, giving them authorization to search the home of one of the men arrested.

During the search a meth production lab was uncovered.

Shipley and Nickle are being held without bond at the Greene County Jail awaiting their initial hearing.
