Last updated on Friday, October 16, 2009

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A 17-year-old Bloomington teen accused of stabbing another 17-year-old Bloomington teen is now facing attempted murder charges.

The victim of the stabbing was stabbed in the chest, sustaing a punture to his lung, during a fight over a girl.

Lucas S. Johnson is the 17-year-old that was arrested for the stabbing crime.

Normally 17-year-olds charged with this type of offense are waived to adult court under Indiana law.

Johnson's bond bond was originally set at $101,000; someone later paid 10 percent of that amount to get him out of jail the same day of his arrest.
