(BEDFORD, IN) - The Lawrence County Clerk’s Office has announced that the office will be unable to accept payments for probation, restitution or other payments of that nature on Thursday and Friday.
County Clerk Myron Rainey says that they will be unable to accept payments due to a "system shutdown."
Rainey says that the system shutdown is the result of a new system being installed on the office's computers.
Rainey stresses that child support payments will still be accepted despite the shutdown.
