Bloomington Murder Suspect Plans To Plead Guilty

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A murder suspect plans to plead guilty to killing a Purdue University counselor.

John Moore III of Bloomington is accused of shooting Steven Morris after he found the man in his estranged wife's home in October 2008.

He plans to plead guilty to manslaughter to avoid a murder charge.

The plea agreement must still be accepted by a judge before its valid. Moore's trial was scheduled for November 11th.
