(LOVETT, IN) - A husband and wife were found shot to death in their Jennings county home Tuesday night.

The bodies of Greg and Marguerite Gough were found during the investigation of a crash involving one of their vehicles.

A state police trooper responded with the Jennings County Sheriff's Department to an abandoned vehicle, wrecked in a ditch.

The trooper was informed that the driver had been transported to a truck stop in Seymour.

Police located the suspect at the truck stop and questioned him about the crash where it was discovered the wrecked car was not registered to the subject and belonged to the Gough's.

The suspect was taken into custody after a short scuffle.

The suspect is identified as 17-year-old Ryan Renfroe from Columbus, Indiana.

The Jennings County Prosecutor says Renfroe is being charged with murder as an adult.
