(BEDFORD, IN) - Another business will stake ground into the former Visteon plant in Bedford.
Leitenant Governor Becky Skillman, Bedford Mayor Shawna Girgis will join a representative from SAIC, which is a technological research and developement company, to announce the business's plans for a new facility in the current former Visteon Plant.
It is unclear at this time how many jobs will be brought into the city, that information will be announced during the conference at 1:00PM today.
According to city officials, the new business has secured additional space in the facility for possible growth in the future, resulting in more available jobs.
SAIC specializes in researching and developing products for national security, energy and environment and health, bio-pharmaceutical and medical Research.
