(MITCHELL, IN) - The rescheduled 4th of July fireworks display for the city of Mitchell is tonight.
Although the weather forecast from the Weather Channel predicts scattered thunderstorms for tonight, the fireworks will still be presented for those planning to attend.
According to the Mitchell Mayor's office, due to a conflicting contract, the fireworks were not able to be rescheduled for any other day than Labor Day.
The display of lights is tonight at Lehigh Field right after dark.
The fireworks display was originally rescheduled due to bad weather for on the 4th of July.
