IU Student Struck And Killed By Car

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A 19-year-old male student at Indiana University has been hit by a car and killed in Bloomington.

Witnesses say 19-year-old Peter Duong walked halfway across north Fee Lane, then turned around and walked into the path of the car.

The victim was transported to Bloomington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car was also a 19-year-old I.U. student, identified as Justin Newman.

Newman was treated at the scene for minor injuries and presently was suspended from driving.
