Last updated on Wednesday, September 2, 2009

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana University plans to offer grants to in-state students that maintain good grades and make steady progress toward graduation starting next year.

IU President Michael McRobbie says undergraduates at the Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses will be eligible for $300 tuition grants if they are enrolled for at least 12 credit hours and earn at least a 3.0 or B average.

Students at IU's other campuses can receive $200 grants.
