(BEDFORD, IN) - Three people were injured following a three-vehicle collision at the John Williams Boulevard and James Avenue intersection Friday evening.

One vehicle was heading towards Highway 37 and began to turn left onto James Avenue, not realizing that there was not enough time for the driver to complete the turn before another vehicle driving the opposite way on John Williams collided with the person's car.

The other driver saw the car began to turn into his lane and responded by swerving right, into James Avenue where another vehicle was sitting.

Realizing that if he continued straight he would collide with the other vehicle, he made a sharp left turn, flipping the vehicle numerous times.

All three driver were injured in the wreck receiving only minor cuts and bruises.
