Three Injured In Paoli Collision

(PAOLI, IN) - Three people were injured in a two vehicle car crash occurring Wednesday evening in Paoli.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department 37-year-old Tonya Murphy was traveling in a 1997 Dodge Van on US Highway 150.

Murphy attempted to turn right onto county road 500 East when she was rear ended by a 2007 Dodge Ram truck.


The impact pushed the van onto its side, the van came to a stop against a utility pole.

The driver of the truck, 36-year-old Jason Johnson of Orleans, was cited for speeding following the collision.

Murphy complained of having neck pains and her two passengers, 6-year-old Maylin Murphy and 2-year-old Kaulin sustained minor contusions and bruises.

All three were transported from the scene to Bloomington Hospital of Orange County to be treated for their injuries.
