H1N1 Confirmed In Jackson County

(SEYMOUR, IN) - The first case of H1N1 in Jackson County has been confirmed.

A female student attending Seymour Community Schools was diagnosed with what appears to be a mild strain of the virus.

The girl is currently resting at home and plans on returning to school on Monday.

According to school officials, there are no plans on closing school doors as a result of the case.

The girl's virus was confirmed by health officials on Thursday.
