(LAWRENCE COUNTY) - A 17-year-old teenager driving a 1993 Dodge Dakota was charged with drinking and driving on the fourth of July.
The teen revealed that he had been drinking after he lost control of his car and drove off of Sandpit Road down a hill and landed the car on top of a pile of lumber in high grass.
Luckily he sustained no injuries in during the incident.
The wreck happened on an S-curve on Sandpit Road near the Rockwood Drive intersection at around 11:35 PM Saturday.
He was charged with operating while intoxicated.
