Last updated on Monday, July 6, 2009

(LINTON) - Newly released Jason Strandberg of Linton was let out of Jail Friday morning and soon found himself in trouble with the law Saturday.

Corey Robinson had parked his van outside a Linton gas station Saturday when Strandberg reportedly stole his vehicle.

As Robinson and his friends were driving around they spotted a van which they thought looked like his, after inspecting it to confirm that it was indeed Robinsons vehicle, Robinson and his friends went up to the mobile home it was parked next to which was the home of Strandbergs ex-girlfriend.

Strandberg greeted Robinson and his friends with a gun at the door.

Robinson took the gun from Strandberg and hit him.

Strandberg tried to run out a back window but the others managed to contain the car thief inside the mobile home until police crews were able a apprehend him.

About a year ago Strandberg led police in a car chase through Linton neighbors hoods which ending in a foot pursuit leading to his first arrest.

He was not arrested for his Saturday actions.
