(LAWRENCE COUNTY) - One Lawrence County resident woke up in a rather uncomfortable situation yesterday morning, although, technically he had been awake once before hand.
A driver traveling at around 5:00 AM west on State Road 58 west of X Street, when he came to realization that he had left his cell phone at his house.
He turned his car around, and headed back home to retrieve it when he fell asleep at the wheel, swerved into the left lane, came out of his short sleep, and in shock, dramatically turned the wheel back towards his lane causing the car to hit an embankment, overturn and land on its top in a ditch.
The driver was not injured in the wreck.
