12-Year-Olds Still In Critical Condition

(GREENE COUNTY) - Two 12-year-old boys remain in critical condition at Methodist Hospital following an ATV wreck taking place yesterday morning.

Three 12-year-old boys were riding off of County Road 400 South when the driver, 12-year-old Alec M. Johnson lost control of the ATV and drove off of the road and crashed into a utility pole.

The impact threw all three of the boys from the ATV.

12-year-old Caleb Steele was eventually airlifted to Methodist Hospital for leg injuries, Johnson, the driver was treated and released from a Greene County Hospital for minor injuries, however 12-year-old Kenneth Helton was immediately flown from Linton Fire Station to Methodist Hospital for back-injuries.

The boys were riding at around 8:13 AM yesterday morning.

No word yet if they were being supervised while riding.
