(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University has named Harold Goldsmith as its next dean of students.
Goldsmith, who earned undergraduate and doctoral degrees from IU, currently serves as vice president for enrollment management and student affairs at Kent State University.
He succeeds the retiring Dick Mckaig.
Goldsmith's appointment must still be approved by the IU Board of Trustees.
