(LOOGOOTEE) - A Loogootee man is facing serious charges after police say he illegally confined a woman in his home, and sexually assaulted her.
State Police Jasper say they received a complaint of an assault early Saturday morning by a woman alleging 25-year-old Alan Toy of Loogootee held her against her will and battered her.
Police went to the home in question and found Toy, taking him into custody after having some difficulties with him.
Toy was taken to the Martin County jail charged with felony counts of sexual battery, criminal confinement and intimidation and lesser charges of battery and resisting arrest.
