Last updated on Monday, April 20, 2009

(MITCHELL) - Two people were injured after a distracted driver rear ended one vehicle and hit another head-on, causing it to roll over.

Lawrence County police reports say 46-year-old Robert Wetzel, Jr. of Pekin was headed east on IN-60 past Spring Mill when he was distracted by a motorcycle motorcade coming the other way.

Wetzel looked back just in time to rear-end 51-year-old Joseph Daniel of Spencer, and then bob off and hit 56-year-old George Hamill of Homosassa, Florida head on.

Hamill suffered fractures in his chest, and his passenger suffered more minor injures.
