(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bedfordite couple were picked up in Bloomington after being reportedly spotted by Bloomington police taking part in a drug deal.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports 25-year-old Daniel Reed and his 32-year-old wife Stacie, both of Bedford, were both arrested along with 26-year-old Brandy Bay who is accused of trying to sell the couple 4 bindles of heroin.
The Reeds are also accused of neglecting their children as they had their 2-year-old son with them and left their 12-year-old son home alone in Bedford.
The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department helped make arrangements for the 12-year-old, the 2-year-old was taken by child protective services, and all three adults were lodged in the Monroe County jail.
