(PARAGON) - A mother and son from Kentucky were arrested in connection with the burned remains of a man found in the Morgan-Monroe State Forest near Paragon.
47-year-old Willa Blanc and her son, 27-year-old Louis Wilkinson both of Union, Kentucky, were arrested Friday in Ohio. Both face multiple charges including kidnapping in connection with the disappearance of 73-year-old Walter Sartory of Hebron, Kentucky who was reported missing on March 4.
Police believe the remains found in Morgan County are those of Sartory, although tests are not yet complete.
