(MARSHALL TWP) - Another family lost their home this weekend, but it had nothing to do with storm damage.
Chris White and his two sons were uninjured when their Marshall Township home in northern Lawrence County caught fire.
Lawrence County officials say Marshall Township firefighters arrived on scene to see heavy black smoke, and about 1/3 of the home on fire.
Smoke and water damage went throughout the rest of the home, making the rental house a total loss. Officials say the fire started in the master bedroom, but no cause has been determined.
They say foul play was not involved, and no one in the home was hurt, but one firefighter had to be treated and released for chest pain.
