(BEDFORD) - A Heltonville woman was hospitalized after an attempt to avoid a mail truck ended up in a collision.
Lawrence County police reports say 55-year-old Ronald Brooks of Bedford was heading east on US-50 east of Shawswick Station Road, when he crested a hill and came upon a mail truck that was pulling away from a mailbox.
Brooks ducked left to get around it and came back right, striking the passenger side of a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Rebecca Goller of Heltonville.
Goller suffered either a broken or dislocated lower arm.
No citations were issued.
