(TUNNELTON) - A pickup truck caught fire on Tunnelton Road near Devil’s Backbone yesterday afternoon, catching an adjacent field on fire.
Guthrie Township Fire Chief Brian Hutchinson tells WBIW News he didn't have full details on hand by late this morning, but could confirm that his crews were called to the location and had a vehicle and a field both on fire, and his men were able to put it out.
At one point, Lawrence County logs show dispatchers were told to inform North Lawrence bus drivers that the involved section of Tunnelton Road was closed.
