(BEDFORD) - Bedford police have a Bedford woman in custody, saying she stole from three separate stores on Saturday.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells us they were called by Wal-Mart loss prevention saying they had apprehended 54-year-old Vicki Trueblood for allegedly walking out with merchandise she hadn't paid for.
Wal-Mart officials told Bedford officers Trueblood said she also had stolen merchandise from Smart Styles and JCPenny as well.
Bedford officers contacted officials from those stores and corroborated that information as well, and Trueblood was taken to Lawrence County jail facing three charges of theft.
