Two Arrested On Felony Drug Related Charges In French Lick

Last updated on Friday, February 13, 2009

(FRENCH LICK) - Orange County, French Lick and state police made a pair of felony drug arrests yesterday in the resort town.

State Police Jasper Sgt. Chad Dick says 47-year-old Albert Saunders Jr. and 27-year-old Johnny Jackson, both of French Lick, are facing a felony charge of maintaining a common nuisance, and misdemeanors of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Dick says the arrests were made after officers helped parole agents with the search of an IN-56 home where marijuana, paraphernalia and an unidentified white powder were reportedly found.

Both were lodged in the Orange County jail.
