There's A Light At The End Of This Cold, Cold Tunnel

Last updated on Wednesday, February 4, 2009

(UNDATED) - Leftover snow and cold conditions are keeping some area schools on delay, but there’s light at the end of this tunnel.

Some schools like North Lawrence, Eastern Greene and Brownstown Central declared 2 hour delays last night, and other schools farther east and north remain closed today. However, tomorrow is forecasted to start a warming trend which could last all the way through next week.

Tomorrow will get us above freezing, and Friday will start a trend of temperatures in the 40s and above that should last until next Friday. Next week Tuesday, according to Weather Channel meteorologists, should get into the high 50s.

But for today, make sure you keep tuned to the Winter Weather Watchers for the latest on closings, cancellations and delays.
