(MITCHELL) - There’s a new man laying down the law in the City of Mitchell.
62-year-old Jerry Presnell, who currently serves as the shift chief of security at the French Lick Resort and Casino, will take over for current interim Chief Steve Blair in the "City South of the River."
Blair has been standing in for former Chief Jim Richardson who resigned last July after it was discovered he had not completed the necessary training to continue serving in the post.
