(UNDATED) - The listening area, including Lawrence, Monroe, Jackson, and Washington Counties, has had roadway sections added to the list of proposed projects slated for funding by Indiana’s portion of the economic stimulus plan.

In Lawrence County, asphalt overlays and preventive maintenance are planned for US-50 between IN-37 and E Street, and a 1.3 mile stretch of IN-37 is proposed for cleaning and joint sealing near IN-60 in Mitchell.

For Monroe County, IN-48 is proposed for asphalt overlay and maintenance between Curry Pike and IN-37.
