(SEYMOUR) - Katie Stam will return to her Southern Indiana hometown on March 4th for the first time since being crowned Miss America in Las Vegas last month.

The 22-year-old Seymour resident will be welcomed back with a parade from Seymour High School to City Hall.

She'll also take part in events in Zionsville, Carmel and Brownstown.

Stam is the first winner from Indiana in the history of the 88-year-old pageant.
