BPD Seeking Suspect In Strong Arm Robbery

(BEDFORD) - Bedford detectives are seeking help in finding the suspect in a late night strong arm robbery.

Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News the O'Briens's Drive-In Liquor on L Street in Bedford was robbed shortly before midnight last night in a strong arm incident.

Parsley says the suspect entered the store shortly before closing time, grabbed a still-unknown amount of cash, and fled on foot. So far, the investigation reports no weapons were displayed and no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 6' and 6'2", 230-250 pounds with a muscular build, wearing dark clothing including a long-sleeve Monster brand energy drink shirt. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot westbound on 18th Street.
