(BEDFORD) - Bedford detectives are seeking help in finding the suspect in a late night strong arm robbery.

Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News the O'Briens's Drive-In Liquor on L Street in Bedford was robbed shortly before midnight last night in a strong arm incident.

Parsley says the suspect entered the store shortly before closing time, grabbed a still-unknown amount of cash, and fled on foot. So far, the investigation reports no weapons were displayed and no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 6' and 6'2", 230-250 pounds with a muscular build, wearing dark clothing including a long-sleeve Monster brand energy drink shirt. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot westbound on 18th Street.

Anyone with information on the crime or the whereabouts of the man in question is asked to call the Bedford Police Department at (812) 275-3311, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 92-ALERT, which is (800) 922-5378.
