(MARTINSVILLE) - Morgan County is the only Indiana county affected by June's flooding that has completed the federal paperwork application process with FEMA.
That could lead to the buyout of flood victims' homes by the end of the year according to the Martinsville Reporter-Times.
The multi-million dollar buyout affects 23 homes which will be torn down and not rebuilt. The buyouts don't include homes damaged in Martinsville.
The city is submitting separate paperwork to FEMA.
