Driver Fatigue Blamed For Monday Rollover

Last updated on Tuesday, January 6, 2009

(BEDFORD) - Driver fatigue is apparently to blame in a rollover that happened on IN-37 at the Old 37 intersection yesterday evening.

Lawrence County police reports say 30-year-old Natalie Tritle of Bedford was heading south on IN-37 when she says she fell asleep, bobbed off the right side of the roadway, and ended up overcorrecting when she woke up, running her van into the median, flipping several times.

The van came to a rest on its passenger side, but Tritle was able to get out, however, she was taken to the Bedford Regional Medical Center complaining of pain to her hand.

No citations were issued.
