(BEDFORD) - The boil order issued earlier this week has been lifted.
Officials from Bedford City Utilities got their test results back this morning and, at around 8:30am today, the boil order for all the affected areas in Lawrence County was lifted.
The boil order was a result of a major water main break near downtown Bedford late Monday night which left sections of J Street near the 9th Street intersection an icy mess.
