(BLOOMINGTON) - If you live in Bloomington and today’s your trash pickup day…and you’re wondering why your trash is still on the curb, it’s because the city has canceled trash pickup today.
Daniel Lopez with the Bloomington Mayor's Office says the city's Sanitation Department cancelled trash pickup services in order to protect the safety of their workers, in accordance with the city's hazardous weather policy.
People who have trash pickup scheduled for today will have their trash picked up next week Thursday, the 22nd.
