Arrests Made In Brown County Murder, Details To Come This Afternoon

(NASHVILLE) - A development is expected to be announced later this afternoon about the murder case in Brown County.

State police have been investigating the shooting death of Richard "Dude" Voland and the assault of his wife, Mary, in November of last year.

State police in Bloomington have announced a press conference for 1:30 this afternoon at the brown county sheriff's department.

Two people have been arrested for the murder and assault.

One of the people arrested is 17-year-old Bennie Reed of Morgantown who is currently facing preliminary charges of murder, burglary of a residence, robbery and battery.

The other individual, is, as of now, only described as a younger male with the same last name.
