Daviess County Wreck Leaves Four Dead

(WASHINGTON)- A two vehicle crash in Daviess County, involving a Shoals truck driver, has left four people dead.

State Police Jasper say a Ford sedan was heading north on IN-257 near Washington and, for reasons still unknown, pulled into the path of a tractor trailer driven by 40-year-old Charles Osborne of Shoals.

The three females in the car were all pronounced dead on the scene, and the male driver was transported to Daviess County Memorial Hospital, however, he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The names of the deceased have not yet been released pending notification of family.

State police have not indicated a cause of the accident as of yet.
