Columbus Library Looks To Collection Agency For Help

Last updated on Tuesday, December 16, 2008

(COLUMBUS) - The Bartholomew County Public Library is turning to a collection agency to encourage the return of overdue materials.

The library's board of trustees recently voted to enter into a 90-day trial agreement with Unique Management Services, a Jeffersonville-based agency specializing in the recovery of overdue materials.

The accounts of people who owe $25 or more and have a book 45 days or more past due will be turned over to the collection agency.
