(INDIANAPOLIS) - Twelve-year-old Maycee Hudson of Paragon has been chosen to help flip the switch at this Friday's Circle of Lights Celebration on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis.

Nearly 4,800 lights on the Soldiers and Sailors Monument traditionally make it the world's tallest Christmas tree.

The 7th grade student from Eminence Middle School was randomly selected from among 3,000 coloring contest entries.
