(NASHVILLE) - A Franklin man hunting deer in southern Brown County fell from his tree stand.
46 year-old Scott Koonts was transported to an Indianapolis hospital with a back injury. The DNR says his tree stand gave way, knocking him to the ground. Koonts managed to call for help on his cell phone.
His condition was not available.
