ISP Releases Sketch Of Suspect In Brown County Murder

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana State Police post in Bloomington has released a sketch of one of the two teenage suspects in a home invasion, attack and murder in northwestern Brown County.

ISP Master Trooper Taylor Bryant of the Lowell District is a forensic artist and generated the sketch of one of the two suspects. The sketch released is of the older suspect.

Police have been investigating a home invastion, shooting, stabbing and ultimate murder involving a couple in Morgantown.

Police say two young men entered the home of 84-year-old Richard Voland and his 77-year-old wife Mary early Saturday morning between midnight and 5:00am. Richard Voland died of his injuries at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where his wife remains receiving treatment.

The older male is described as between 18 and 20 years old, dark hair with olive or darker skin. The younger suspect is another white mal, between 14 and 16 years old, with light complexion and sandy blond or light red hair, and both were clean shaven at the time of the attack.
